Downtown Vancouver is bounded by water on 3 sides. To the north is Burrard Inlet where luxury condo towers of Coal Harbour are nestled on the shore. On the south side is False Creek North flanged by Yaletown. To the west, is English Bay and the West End which is Downtown Vancouver's older neighbourhoods. Downtown Vancouver west is at the centre, and historic Gastown and Downtown Vancouver East is in the east of the downtown area. Fairview and False Creek are located on the south side and more closely connected to Vancouver westside.
